The Insolvency Service’s Review of the Memorandum of
Understanding and the Principles for Monitoring
Towards the end of the year the IS consulted the RPBs and other interested parties on possible revisions to the Memorandum of Understanding, which is the basis for delegating the work of regulation to the RPBs, and to the Principles for Monitoring by the RPBs.

We hope that this review will provide an opportunity to achieve greater harmonisation in both monitoring and disciplinary procedures. The IPC has been asked to join in the consultation process and welcomes the opportunity to express its views on these issues.
