Improvement in IVA Statistics

We have continued our discussions with the IS about the Recommendations in our Annual Reports for 2004 and 2005 on the need for them to produce regular statistics for the completion and failure rates of IVAs of individual IPs from the information on their Birmingham public register.

The IS have now informed us that they intend to supply completion/failure statistics for each individual IP quarterly to the RPBs. They have also told us that the failure rate of IVAs has been around 27% in recent years.
